A Little Rain Makes a Big Difference

We have had such a dry Spring. 

Our grass was so dry it crunched when you walked on it.  I was watering my garden, trees, shrubs and flowers every single day to make sure we didn't lose them.  Over the last week our rainy season started!  Though we've had some fierce thunder and lightning, we've also had some awesome gully washers.  I'm so happy to see my Crepe Myrtles blooming along with our grass turning a luscious green.  It is just amazing what nutrients are in the rain that plants and flowers crave.
