While fishing on the shoreline in Melbourne Beach over the weekend, a late afternoon thunderstorm had just passed through. We were able to witness a nest of turtle hatchlings emerge and head for the ocean. This is the third time I've actually been able to witness a baby turtle find his way to the ocean. It truly amazes me that they know exactly which way to go right out of the nest.
